To measure both nitrite and nitrate we use an optical photometer from germany company TriOS together with it´s controller TriBox3.
The TriBox3 can be accessed and deliver measurement parameters through RS485 Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP or analog output. The WiFi can be used to “mirror” the screen onto another computer.
Sensor is calibrated depending on the waste water turbidity and measurement range which decide the Path length the UV light will meet between the glasses of the sensor.
