The technology we use to measure in farmland drainage and environment streams, is an optical nitrate sensor which has been developed especially to meet the ruff demands in outdoor conditions.
Measurements will be made every 20 minutes and data sent every hour to our cloud and app solutions.
Cleaning of the optical window is being made automatically every 3 hours which keeps the sensor ready to deliver reliable measurements over time.
As seen in the picture below, a rain sensor has been added as well as a solar panel. Precipitation data can be seen separately or in same diagram as nitrate.
The result is that your are able to follow the outwashing of nitrate as the rain is falling.
